Catching a pre-season San Francisco 49ers game at Candlestick Park in San Francisco will forever be a travel highlight for me. Wandering the carpark pre-game and checking out the tailgate setups and feeling the vibe in the crowd as the 49ers defeated the San Diego Chargers 17-14 are memories I'll treasure for a long time.
I haven't been to a 49ers game since, but I do hope to catch a game at their new home, Levis Stadium in Santa Clara soon.
