I love the colour and the activity on the streets of Bangkok. Everywhere you turn there's something to catch your eye.

The Maungawhau / Mount Eden volcanic crater is the tallest in Auckland, and gives an amazing early morning view of the city laid out before you.

There are a couple of ways to get to IconSiam in Bangkok by public transport. One of those is by boat. This ferry service costs about 40 baht and while it's not the quickest, or the most frequent service, it is something that I reckon is worth doing at least once for the experience.

The Capitol Records tower in Hollywood, California. To me, I always remember the scene from The Adentures of Ford Fairlane, with Andrew Dice Clay climbing down the outside of the tower, and that was the inspiration to me to make sure I grabbed this shot when we were in Los Angeles many years ago.

The Brand Highway is the main highway out of Perth, heading north to Geraldton and beyond. This shot is from a little road trip we took up to Geraldton for Australia Day in January this year.

Throwback to 2010, and a couple of shots from Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles, California. The last time I managed to get myself Stateside and a lifetime ago. So many things have changed since then and shots like these remind me of the places I want to explore all over again.

Chilling on Sanur Beach back in 2015. I think this was La Taverna, which is, I believe, now no longer in operation. We were staying at the Swiss-Bel Resort Watu-Jimbar, now known as the Watu-Jimbar Sanur Resort and had walked down to the beach to explore.

Traditional fishing boats lined up off the beach of Sanur on the east coast of Bali in 2013.

A couple of weeks back now, we headed out on the road and made our way down to Boyup Brook, in Western Australia for the 25th Annual Harvey Dickson Rodeo. We camped on site for two nights and had a great weekend getting away from the city for a while.

This is Ulan Danu Beratan, a sprawling temple complex on the shores of Lake Beratan in Bali, Indonesia. We were here in October 2019, which, as it turned out, would be the last time we visited Bali for many years. We are hoping to head back soon, but we've really been enjoying getting a bit further afield (and looking a lot closer to home too)

Phnom Penh's Central Markets are an Art Deco work of art, as well as being a great spot for some shopping, whether it be fresh seafood and other food items, clothing, jewellery or small electrical goods.

A day trip from Phuket is a popular way to check out Phi Phi Island and Maya Bay in a bite sized format. If you want to spend more time exploring, I'd take a speedboat to Phi Phi Island and stay a few nights so you can arrange some local tours, but we didn't have the time to take it slow this time around.
